Quang Ninh province to bring traditional arts to tourism

The northern Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed with relevant agencies to carry out the plan for traditional art performances to serve domestic and foreign tourists.

Accordingly, programmes selected to serve tourists include water puppetry and performances imbued with the specific cultural identities of Quang Ninh province. Performances will be held at the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Cultural Palace and the Royal International Park in Ha Long city.

Relevant agencies include the College of Culture, Arts and Tourism, the Tourism Association, tourist enterprises and artistic troupes.

Performances will be supplemented according to the input of tourists at travel agencies, so that performances will not only show specific identity but also attract tourists.
