Mong Cai: Over 583 mln donated to the Poor

The People’s Committee of Mong Cai city held a ceremony to launch the peak month for the Poor 2017, aiming at supporting poor people living in the city.

The duration of the peak month lasts from Oct. 17 to Nov. 18

At the ceremony, Mong Cai People’s Committee has raised over VND 204 million; the total amount raised before and after the launching ceremony was VND 583 million.

As reported, from the beginning of the year, 7 poor households were supported by the City’s Fund of the Poor with a funding of VND 260 million, and 26 households were donated by organizations and enterprises with the toal amount of VND 903 million.
