Nearly VND500 mln donated for poor children

An art program was held on April 12 in Ha Long city in order to raise fund to support poor children.

At the program, VND 463 million was raised

The program drew the attention of a great number of youth union members and supporters in the city. At the program, VND 463 million was raised. The total amount will be donated to the children who have been suffered from difficulties in their life but strived to become good citizens.

Also at the program, 30 poor but excellent students of the city were granted with scholarships of 1 VND million for each; 3 newly-built houses were handed over to poor families by the City’s Youth Union Committee.
