Online conference on foreign NGO affairs

On Mar 9th, the Committee for Foreign Non-Governmental Organization Affairs (COMINGO) held an online conference to review the implementation of its tasks in 2029 and discuss its main orientations this year. Quang Ninh’s Standing Vice-chairman, Dang Huy Hau, joined the online conference.

Quang Ninh has 10 projects and one non-project aid which are carried out by 11 foreign NGOs with total commitment of approximately of 1.6 million VND, improving local people’s health and improving locals’ awareness of social issues.

Concluding the conference, Permanent Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, suggested that ministries, sectors, and localities should enhance state management of foreign NGO affairs to ensure the requirement of political security and diplomatic ties. He also required the improvement in making and managing aid projects as well as diversification in aid sources, beneficiaries, and method of mobilizing aids for socio-economic development.
