Quang Ninh closes relics and tourist attractions for two weeks

Amid Covid-19 risk, in order to ensure both local people and tourists’ safety, Quang Ninh Provincial Standing Party’s Committee agrees to postpone overnight stay service on Ha Long Bay; cancel all visits to Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and islands in Co To, Van Don District; and close all historical relics and tourists attraction in the province. The order takes effect from 0.00am of Mar.12, 2020 to 0.00am of Mar. 27, 2020.

 

According to the Department of Health’s report, by midday of Mar. 11, Quang Ninh recorded no Covid-19 cases, except for four cases who are foreigners on the same flight VN0054 with Covid-19 Patient No.17. These four cases then were transported to National Hospital of Tropical Diseases for supervision. 1,210 people have been isolated at areas for isolation.

Quang Ninh is re-checking passenger list on flight VN0054 to search for those who had been to Quang Ninh after discovering that Covid-19 Patient No.31 and No.33 had stayed in Quang Ninh. Earlier, Quang Ninh isolated suspectedly infected areas, sprayed these areas with disinfectant, and test Covid-19 for those had contacted with the cases of No.31 and No.33.
