Quang Ninh Provincial Secretary checks Covid-19 prevention and control at some medical establishments in Ha Long

On Mar 9th, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum Chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, checked Covid-19 prevention and control at some medical establishments in Ha Long City. He was accompanied by leaders of relevant departments and localities.

According to the report by the provincial Department of Health, Covid-19 prevention and control have been decisively, actively, and effectively implemented by Quang Ninh’s authority, in line with the Government and the Ministry of Health’s guidance, with the foremost target of preventing the disease spread and break as well as no fatality due to the disease. 

Notably, Quang Ninh is the first province nationwide to have automatic Real-Time Polymerase Chain ReactionRT-PCR machine to quickly and accurately test Covid-19, to arrange negative pressure isolation rooms and buffer rooms meeting international standards to avoid cross-contamination.

Covid-19 prevention and control in Quang Ninh has been raised to the highest level.

During his checking tour on Covid-19 prevention and control at medical establishment and the hospital for isolation in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial Party’s Committee Secretary, cum Chairman of People’s Council, Nguyen Xuan Ky, highly appreciated health sector’s activeness and responsibilities.

Over the last days, thanks to efforts made by the whole political system and synchronous measures against Covid-19 disease, Quang Ninh has been doing the good job in preventing and controlling the epidemic while ensuring social security and economic development, and building Quang Ninh as a safe-friendly-and attractive destination.
