Contest on Quang Ninh provincial establishment and development reviewed

On September 10, the Quang Ninh provincial War Veterans’ Association held a conference to review the contest on creating literature and press works about Quang Ninh’s 50 years of construction and development. In more than seven months, the provincial War Veterans’ Association received 1,577 works out of 3,225 writings from its members in the province.

War veteran Pham Van Van from Ha Long city collected and presented to Quang Ninh provincial museum 3,000 photos about Uncle Ho and Quang Ninh province. War veteran Nguyen Van Nen collected biographies, circumstances and documentary photos of 111 Vietnamese heroic mothers in the province.

The provincial War Veterans’ Association presented two first prizes, three second prizes, six third prizes and 11 consolidation prizes to groups and individuals, and selected 18 writings for the final round.
