Friendly chess competition for youth of Quang Ninh province and Army team

 During the action month for children and International Children’s Day (June 1), the Quang Ninh province’s centre for training and sports competition organized a friendly chess competition for the youth of Quang Ninh province and the Army team.

The tour saw the participation of 32 outstanding boy and girl competitors like Nguyen Van Toan Thanh (U16 Army team, medal winner at national tours); Nguyen Hoang Duc (U14, gold medal winner at 2013 National Junior Championship), Nguyen Ha Linh (U11); Nguyen Le Cam Hien (U8, recent gold medallist at the 2014 national tour - Kim Dong Cup)…

The competition will follow the Swiss rapid system, 25 minutes for each player to complete one game, 2 games in the morning and 3 games in the afternoon.

This is a great opportunity for junior players to test their abilities, improve their skill level and prepare psychologically for future challenges. Specifically, the event is a timely preparation for the 2014 junior age groups championship that will be held in Ho Chi Minh city in mid-July.
