100 photos about Vietnam Heritage in Quang Ninh province

On November 6, Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Organizing Board of the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014 to open an exhibition on Vietnam heritage photos, at the provincial library in Ha Long city.

This is in the series of exhibitions in 16 provinces and cities nationwide to mark the 10th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2014). Earlier, the exhibition was held in Ho Chi Minh city and the central city of Nha Trang.

Accordingly, 100 outstanding photos selected from more than 4,400 entries to the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2014 are on display, showing the simple beauty in Vietnamese scenery and people from the viewfinder of both amateur and professional photographers.

The exhibition is a significant activity to respond to the Vietnam Heritage Day. It is more especially when it is held in Quang Ninh, whose Ha Long bay – the natural heritage site was recognized by UNESCO twice, said Hoang Quoc Thai, Vice Director of Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. /.
