2017 Asian women's beach volleyball tournament wraps up

The four-day Tuan Chau-Ha Long 2017 Asian Beach Volleyball Championship wrapped up in Ha Long on May 7.

Jointly held by Vietnam Volleyball Federation, Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports, and Au Lac Limited Company, this year's tournament is one of a series of activities of the Quang Ninh- Ha Long Tourism Week 2017. It attracted the participation of 23 teams from 12 countries and territories, including Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Vanuatu and Vietnam, the highest numer of participants since the first competition held in 2005.

China won the championship, and was followed by Kazakhstan and New Zealand, respectively.
